The IT Workforce of the Future

Key technology and business drivers are requiring IT leaders to build a new organization that will be fundamentally “lighter,” with an increased focus on the design and implementation of technology-enabled, information-based business solutions. The result will be new IT roles and the redistribution of IT resources inside and outside the IT organization.

Talking ITSM? - Careful you may get your mouth washed out with soap.

Ever hear someone say "we are not allowed to use the word ITIL in my company"  or "there’s no time for process, I have to get the ITSM tool installed"?   If I had a dollar for every time I've heard it I could retire a whole lot sooner.  I can picture it now -  their CIO saying… "Careful, one more word about process and I'll wash your mouth out with soap".
